User-Centered Design Solutions
Great design begins with understanding who is on the receiving end. My approach emphasizes empathy and collaboration, ensuring digital solutions are not only functional, but also intuitive and impactful for the end-user.
I had the opportunity to develop digital learning modules for the Air Force Civil Engineers Training Modernization effort. This involved setting the content strategy for each module and leveraging interaction and visual design to enhance user experience and improve learning retention. Additionally, I led the first user research effort to validate the need for digital training and assess Airmen’s current experience with the digitized modules.
Strategic Campaign Development
When campaigns are built with intention, they foster meaningful connections between organizations and their stakeholders while driving results. I have executed and managed multi-channel communication campaigns that resonate across diverse audiences.Through consistent messaging and visual branding, I implement cohesive strategies to ensure campaigns maximize reach and impact.
Each year, the Army observes Energy Action Month in October, launching a campaign that highlights the importance of energy resilience and how it powers the Army mission. I led the development of unified messaging across digital, print, and event channels, pushing out a consistent brand voice for the campaign. I also designed all campaign visuals, ensuring the main campaign poster seamlessly integrated Army branding and key messaging. Compared to other content on Army energy channels, the Energy Action Month poster graphic had XYZ% more reach.
Brand Development and Management
Brand development is key to creating a cohesive and memorable identity, helping to amplify stories across different channels and audiences. I have elevated client brands through creative storytelling, custom graphics, and integrated marketing strategies. I have also managed long-term brand evolution, increasing brand equity and fostering a positive brand culture.
While leading marketing efforts for the Air Force Civil Engineers, I developed a social media brand to align our organizational identity. This resulted in growing both audience reach and engagements. During my time on this project, I grew the amount of Instagram followers by 85% and increased YoY content engagement by 40%.
